The guitar strum at the begining of the epic “Stripped” should have alerted me of things to come Favorite album by DM. I was a fan from Broken Frame onwards to Music for the Masses. I am afraid I never got into the comericially successful albums like Violator.

“Black Celebration” is a great album without a single weak song. It all fits together, the music, the grey vinyl, the classy cover designself-contained perfection. A shame they had to go to California and become fake rockers soon after that.
